Hey folks! I am back with the food------blog again.

Few weeks ago(during March 2010), a Swedish guest brought us to Gaucho Grill for some western food! Yeah, the guest paid for the food hahaha It sounds illogic right? But that’s how thing happen…

At least, I know this is a pricey restaurant. For myself, I dare not to go there if I want to have a value meal.

The restaurant is serving Argentina food, as you can see from the dishes with Argentina flag. Must be a very patriotic owner! goodjob

The interior of the restaurant itself is not very attractive, I find it is too dark or perhaps it just not my type of design shy

This can be the most expensive nachos that i had ever tried. RM20/set … We ordered two sets as appetizer.

The notable part is the cheese and dressing, it makes the nachos more tasty!

My colleagues order the medium rare rib-eye. It price at RM65 or RM68… I did not taste it so I could not tell you more about it. But from the bloody plate after the meal, I can tell you that was really medium rare!! hahaha

This is my order grill lamb! Price at RM75!! Yeah… you see it right! RM75! What a pricey lamb...

The meat was well done, not tough to chew. The taste has nothing special … or perhaps… this is not my type of food. LoL.

This restaurant is located @ Chulan Square. Opposite of the Pavilion. If you have some extra money, why not try it?! After all, not much authentic Argentina food that you can find in KL.

After the meal, we went up to Ampang Look Out Point for another round of drinks and some photo. At least we bring the guest to have a KL night view as the return of pricey dinner. Again, he paid for the drinks too… ohoho1

** Photos were taken with Ixus 75 because I were too lazy to tag along my 450D. Forgive my shaky hands, really too long never hold the small machine… :P

Timing is the top most critical factor for success. In Chinese, we have a phrase “天时,地利,人和” which can be translated to perfect timing, strategic location, established human relationship.

At times, we have to make difficult decision along the journey of life. You could have the best decision making skill but still fail.

The chances of making decision will grow as you gain age. Decision can be tough when there are too much to consider.

No one can tell the perfect timing to make and implement important decision. Simply because, you would not know what happen after your decision. If it turns out good, then you are in good timing or vice versa…

3 months ago, I decided resign and change my career back to a software developer. Yes, from a Professional Services manager to software developer in a newly start up offshore development centre.

A lot was yelling I am crazy or some even say this is a very bad move. That is a big NO NO to trade off your talent / capability for the sake of money (higher pay). Yes, I know it is very risky backward move… but this doesn’t mean I will lost all knowledge and experiences. I am taking a step back to regain my direction and forward planning.

Now, people start praising me… and say that the timing for me to leave is just perfect.

You know why? It is because the company had shut down and some got retrenched too. So, this incident had changed people’s view on my decision.

I am not the oracle, I don’t know what will happen. During that time, my decision is driven by my financial needs and I trade off my career. Anyway, I don’t feel lucky or happy because I am escaped. I feel sad since the shut down had caused some people lost their job.

I want to share with you, no one can tell you the perfect timing for everything. If you believe it is right time to do it, then just do it without regret. Simple as that!

Do the right thing, as long as you are happy then you’ll be alright. Good luck!

Let’s not critic on my bad Mal-lish in naming this entry… I have something to share with you. This was happen two weeks ago, and until now, I still find it is hilarious.

Before we start, I have to explain to you about my role. As many of you know I am a person who handle the client engagement for example chit chat with them to find out what they want, prepare a quote / proposal and so on. My company (not my business) is a Software house… To simplify this, you can call me IT Sales-person and we start the interesting story-telling now.

A customer approach me a.k.a. the IT Sales-person to enquire a quotation for a application report customization. Without any delay, I reply with a quotation which is RM1,000. The customer was shocked and reply “Why so expensive?”. The customer start to challenge that the original report that we deliver to her was a piece of junk and why she has to pay for fixing the junk. I totally agree that we should not pay for junk! So I support her and request her to justify it. Sadly, she couldn’t. I couldn’t help her so I advise her to reconsider our quote.

Then she say, proceed with it and she will pay RM400… Ok… This is getting interesting. She wants the work to be completed but only pay 40% of the price? Immediately, I declined by saying that is not enough to cover the running cost and it will be a net loss for my company. Then the conversation start to be not-so-pleasant but I am generous enough to complete the work for her and to discuss the pricing later. But she is not agreeable to that and wanted to rebill me on the time she spent to speak with me… Now, let’s see who wants to deliver the work and who is trying to be ridiculous…

If you find something is expensive, you have 2 choices. Buy or Leave to another alternative. Simple as that.

Even that you own a piece of junk, you want to dispose it. You will still have to pay for the disposal fees, correct?

Again… apply the same situation on KFC Shrimp Stix . Can you tell KFC that your shrimp stix is only 20% of your advertising size, so I will only pay your 20% of the price? I believe the Uncle KFC will turn alive and dip you into the burning oil… hahaha

Another example, I am a very difficult customer for TMNET Streamyx. However, I still have to pay FULL subscription fees every month, otherwise they will terminate my account and charge me reconnection fees after I settle the outstanding bill! Yes! They terminate you and still charge you for reconnection… how ridiculous… furthermore the best effort basis is the worst in the world. I wish I have the power to demand but no…

You see, in a commercial world. We are the consumer, the best way to safe guard our benefit is to be a smart consumer. The provider can choose whether or not to deal with you too. So, there is nothing by force…

If the customer can set the price and the provide has to accept it. Then I will go to Japanese restaurant eat the abalone and salmon sashimi for RM1 / meal… because the restaurant are serving the dead corpses of fish without any cooking. I am so kind to go in and eat them all, save their money to dispose those junk too! xd

Hope you had a good laugh and able to find some learning points in this entry. :-)

。。 sigh

Many years ago, I had this simple mindset. I thought money can solve everything, whatever money can solve, there are no problem at all!

Today, I found myself is not entirely correct. Don’t get me wrong, I am not trying to tell you something like “I found love overcome money”, “My family is greater than all” or “Money just can’t buy anything”… these are bullshit… love can’t keep you alive without money to buy food!

Indeed, I am still find we need money to resolve problems but not as easy as paying it only. Most of the time, we have to be involved in order to get the best outcome too.

Money, it is still the essence to all kind of solutions but money cannot build solution.

Money can buy books but not knowledge.

Money can buy supplement but not health.

Money can buy sex but not love.

Money can buy a lot of stuffs but you have to be involved in order to get the best outcome!

Let’s say, you are hungry and you want to feed yourself with food. So, you need to buy a fresh salad with your money. Now, look into this way. Money, you use it to buy food. It can’t grow vegetables, it can’t be chew like fresh salad and it is definitely not safe to eat! Do you still think money can kill your hunger without you spend it on food?

I want to express that is all solutions associated with cost / price. It is not money that builds solution.

I am frustrated, very irritated when someone says “We’ll pay for it, do it”.

First of all, before you say that sentence, better think twice. By saying this sentence, you may feel very bossy and very proud but it also shows how childish you are… … Sometimes, people may reject you due to self-esteem. If this happen, what else you do with your beloved money? Think… Respect.

Again, never ever say “I am willing to pay, you better figure out yourself on how to solve my problem”. OK, let’s stay away from this kind of human being. Money is one of the important ingredient of all solutions, but it is not a medium for you to push your problem to the others! Have your teacher teach you never put your hope on people that eyeing on your money? I, myself, appreciate your trust on me. However, I must advise that whenever shit happens, you are your own life saver.

Think – you are seeking assistance, not someone begging you to pay. You have to pay because every solution associates with price. Get it right or leave.

After reading this, do you think your can solve everything with money?

Each people tends to build up comfort zone and live happily inside it. I wonder, how much does it cost to walk out from the comfort zone. Sometimes, people need courage and convincing reasons to step out of their comfort zone. When shit happens, people step back into it and continue to live happily.

Is it a correct attitude to live with?

Tonight, a thoughtful night for me. I keep thinking on the people I met. Different kind of attitude and different background too.

Decision can be tough to make if people are framed by comfort zone because they are afraid to risk the comfort.

On the other hand, when people are outside the comfort zone, they can make the toughest decision without much consideration since they have nothing to lose!

The only matter is mindset. Why can’t we make the toughest decision in our comfort zone?

All decisions associate with risk and opportunity too! Without taking any risk, you couldn’t touch any opportunity too. There is no free lunch in this world! When you are dare to lose, then you are a step closer to the winning stage!

Step out and step forward, people! Do first die later!

I just go back from a company paid conference, SOFTEC 2008. The venue is at Berjaya Times Square Hotel. This is a 2 days conference. The speakers came from Korea, Japan, Vietnam and some local companies.

Opps.... I forgot to tell you what is this conference topic. It is about Software Testing. Some industry standards and ISO standard were discussed during the conference too.

Basically, nothing really amaze me... but the speakers from various countries and the attendees from various local authorities and ministry did surprise me quite a bit. It is because I never expected that my company actually paid the conference fees but others attendees are almost sponsored by someone else autism

The conference is not boring at all. Speakers are experienced enough but was feed by too many food... fall asleep in the afternoon sleepy

Let's check out the food that I had hahaha

Food is more enjoyable~

。。sleepy

End of January 2008, we (my colleagues and me) went to Pavilion to have lunch again. Claimable from company! Why not spend it before others? xd

Still got Chinese New Year decorations! That day, Pak Lah was there... don't know what happen but damn many people!

The waiter of Crystal Jade Kitchen is really annoying, I would like to take a photo, but then she/he comes to stop me... damn damn "Kan Na Sai" ah! sigh

The interior design is not special... the dining set is just another typical type of weapon.

sigh

My colleague order Chicken Rice. As you look into it... you still want to try it? It was too dried... not nice at all. sigh

This is the Little Prawn Fried Noodle which I order for that day, this has no different compare to the street hawker stall... only this one was made fresh...

Yes! This Roasted Chicken Noodle is not bad. The presentation, taste and price is above the par! hahaha

We ordered some side dishes but the taste ... one word "bad"

This lunch cost RM223... freaking expensive le!! Luckily it is claimable from Company, else I will be vomitting blood for this kind of food.

My rating for this, 5 points max.

Service - 1 point

Food - 3 points

Environment - 3 points

Price - 2 points (a little over-price)

Fact #1 : Clients can be really good when you really make things happen for them!

Two days ago, I was extremely happy and feeling great because one of my biggest client run to my desk and ask me.

"Hey KokMing, how many resources you are under?".

My response was like 3 seconds pause and I ask "Labor or tools? Why?".

He reply "Labor. How many people you need?".

Without a second thought, my answer shot out from my mouth "2".

He smile at me and say "I will ask that for you.". After that, he straight away walk into the General Manager's room and I yelled "Thank you!"...

Perhaps this is not a very interesting conversation but I feel so good.

Have your client ever taking their own initiative to help you request for resources? This is definitely never happen on me during my previous careers.

Besides that, he is the one who brought my team to KAMPACHI @ PAVILION

Honestly, he impressed me very much. He do rewards and takes the initiative to solve my problem as I solved his problems! I like this management style and I respect him very much.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Fact #2: Boss can be really n00b. He doesn't know who is working for him.

Let's read my blog disclaimer before you proceed.

I have a chat with my Australian boss this afternoon. He asked me how's my team doing. This is the 3rd time he ask me the same question for 2 days. I just don't know how to answer. Obviously, he should know how my team doing via the reports I submitted to him. I don't know what he trying to "hint" or which direction he wanted to lead me into...

So my answer is somewhat silly. "They are doing good but depends..."

Hey! What I can answer? He knows one of my team member is leaving the team. Soon I will have 3 people work for 7 peoples load!

Every one knows my team is currently under intense pressure. Yet, he still ask me why I let so much of pressure went through the developers (team member).

Ok... Put aside my negative comments. Let's see what he had done to "re-assure" me.

He gave a few advices to me.

1. When a worker cannot do the work as you ask them to do. Perhaps you don't keep asking them to do that but assign another job to him/her.

Brilliant suggestion. I agreed. Simply because assigning an important task to the wrong person is going to fail yourself miserably.

I did reassign another job to the "incompetent" worker but he/she still failed me. Should I ask for a new project so I can train/coach him/her up?

Question... Since I am running low on resources. If I can apply the above approach then what about the existing tasks which he never enlighten me how to settle it with nobody...  Seriously. I liked this kind of idea which looks inspiring but empty!

2. If you are a good leader, you should know how to manage pressure. But why your members are under pressure and leaving?

Ok. I remain silent for this. I admit I am not a good leader but the one who speak this sentence is nothing better than me too. To be honest, IF you do not pass any pressure to me. How on earth I can generate or create any pressure out of no where? When you point a finger to someone, there is always more fingers pointing back to yourself.

3. When your team is at full capacity / fully occupied. All you do is to tell the client that they have to wait or go away.

Yeah! That's the way. Perhaps in Australia, this is the real way to do the business but in Malaysia, thing goes the other way round. If you do that, I can "guarantee" you that your business is not going to look good.

Back to the actual scenario, if I have ever reject or decline any request from my biggest client. Do you think I will still own a seat within the company? Perhaps I failed in term of project/team management but I do not feel ashamed because I did my best. It is better than the others who is unwilling to take up the challenge and run away, right?

4. I don't expect your team to be 3 members only. We are targeting to expand this division to house 100 people. By that time, you will have professional like Business Analyst, Project Manager and etc to face the client for you. Blah blah blah... ....

An impressive business expansion and planning. But he never mention when I will get extra headcount to do the existing tasks. Furthermore, he promise nothing.

The discussion with him last 30 minutes. Basically, he just keep asking me "Any question?" since the 5th minutes. The rest of 25 minutes spent to answer my questions without a clear direction... This "re-assure" me on how much I can rely on him ... I do not mean I am unhappy but again, I need a reliable boss to back me up while I am facing the troubles and problems only!

If I am suppose to care about my team, then he is suppose to care about me... To be honest, I feel NO care at all. Case closed. Full stop. Good night!

Ok! I know you guys missing my food blog very much!

I miss you as much as you miss my food blog!

Last Friday, my Australian boss came to Malaysia. As usual, we are "fully utilizing" the company fund to have a team lunch at this Nerovivo restaurant! It serves expensive Italian food... For me, I would not try it if I have to pay my own bill. Hee Hee Hee.

See this menu... Isn't it quite "reasonable"? xd

Something to fill up the stomach before the main course arrive... That is the most expensive mineral water that I ever tasted...

This is what I ordered! Norwegian Salmon! Well, it is tasty but not really as good as to make me order for another time. As most western food, the salmon was overcooked, but the sauce was nice. Overall is not too bad happysigh

This is the codd fish? Hm... I forgot the spelling... My English is too sucks... I tasted a piece from my colleague's plate shy It taste better than my salmon...

Finally we are 6 men sharing 3 plates of desserts... hahaha Although sharing these with another 5 guys but it still taste SWEET! ohoho2

As usual, the female colleagues over ordered and did not manage some plates... Men got extra food at last. All stuffed back to office! full

Last week, the company had organized a trip to Port Dickson for the sake of team building. Yes! Team building.

When we talk about Port Dickson, it must be related to beach and seaside camp fire BBQ! Unfortunately, the resort did not have a beach... furthermore, we don't have a BBQ session too... quite disappointed. But what to complaint? It don't cost a cent! Haha!

This is the food that the resort provided. Definitely not tasty but no choice...

The camera crew... I would love to have cheer-leader team rather than this... Haha!

See me? Go kart only! Take it easy! (It is actually harder to control than you can imagine...)

The next morning, we went to the Blue Lagoon beach. The beach is just ugly. Rubbish everywhere...

The first photo, I would love to take the flare but I failed... It is actually very tiring to do so and I scare that will spoil my camera len so I did not try until success. The second photo failed too... I wanted to take down the photo with the feeling of "good weather" and "nice coconut tree"... ehhh you know what I want to say. Haha!

Yeah! Seafood lunch before we happily end the trip. The coconut is not picked from the tree, ok? hehe. Did you see C.R.A.B ? Oh well, it did not taste as good as it looks...

That's it for the trip. I taken a lot of photo but mostly with some human faces inside. It is not nice to publish here so I skip it.

Finally, Andot has come out a customized version of WM6 ROM for HTC Tornado Device. Yes! My Dopod 577W is HTC Tornado Device. I grabbed a copy but holyshit! I do not know how to flush it into my Dopod 577W because it is not an executable format... A big tragedy to me because I have to spend another few hours to Google about how to flush the ROM.

I must tell you that this world is very fair! There is no free-lunch in this world. I spend almost 3 hours in Google and type not less than 100 search keywords but I get nothing! Finally, I give up on search for a total reference but to learn how to flush my Dopod 577W on how to use the utilities! After an hour, I succeeded. It took me a lot of courage and very high risk to do that. It seems the Lucky Goddess is always smiling at me, so I get it done in 1 round. LoL. I am damn proud of myself!

Now I am going to teach you How To Flush Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 into DOPOD 577W or HTC Tornado Device. Please allow me to make a few declarations here.

1. All the tools that I am using in this guide comes with no warranty or guarantee, use it at your own risk.

2. The Windows Mobiles ROM that I used is an unofficial release from this PRO! So... use it at your own risk!

3. Please don't come to me if you fail.

4. Read the whole article before you take any action! Ensure you understand and know how to do it right!

Download the tools and ROM below if you want to flush your device based on my guide.

1. Tools  (Download it and extract into a folder, you will need to use it soon!)

2. Andot's Windows Mobile 6 for Tornado Perfect English Edition Released!

There are 11 steps involved

Step 1 - Preparation

Step 2 - Application Unlock

Step 3 - SuperCID - install cert.cab on phone

Step 4 - SuperCID - Patching the ROM

Step 5 - Disable USB Connection

Step 6 - Access the Bootloader

Step 7 - Format BINFS via TeraTermPro

Step 8 - Enable USB Connection

Step 9 - Running the GSM update

Step 10 - Running the OS update

Step 11 - Installing input method (optional)

Step 1 - Preparation

Please get all the tools and ROM ready. Kindly install Mircosoft Active Sync 4.5 or above. Connect your device via USB.

** Make sure you are using a HTC Tornado device, it is also known as Dopod 577W, Qtek 8300, Qtek 8310, Imate SP5, I-mate SP5m and Orange SPV C600. Ensure that your battery is charged up to at least 50%.

Step 2 - Application Unlock

Now, look into the folder with you extracted the Tools. Open the SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe and click Remove Lock button. The purpose this is to ensure that you can install any unsigned 3rd party application (which is the tool needed to SuperCID in the next step) . If your device is already application unlock, you can skip this step. But it is no harm to do it again...

Step 3 - SuperCID - install cert.cab on phone

If your device is patched with SuperCID, you can skip this step and proceed to Step 4, if you have no idea what is SuperCID, you can do it again. First, locate the SPV Services inside the tools folder. This is the software to do  SuperCID. Extract it to a folder, let's say on a desktop. You will see three files in it. Cert.cab , TyphoonNBFTools.dll and SPV-services.exe. Copy cert.cab to any location on your smartphone and install it.

Step 4 - SuperCID - Patching the ROM

Now run SPVServices.exe which is located same folder with the Cert.cab, you should see this. RAPI Init was successful means that your ROM is ready to be patched with 16 bytes of data in order to allow it to be flushed with any ROM, by clicking on Set CID, your warranty is void. Stop here if you don't want to lose your warranty.

Step 5 - Disable USB Connection

Turn off your phone, detach the USB cable, and disable Microsoft Active Sync USB connection.

Open Microsoft Active Sync, click File -> Connection Settings -> Uncheck the allow USB connection

Step 6 - Access to the bootloader. During the phone is turned off, hold the camera button and attach the USB cable. Wait until a 3 colour screen appears, that is your bootloader screen.

Step 7 - Format BINFS via TeraTermPro

Now, please run the TeraTermPro inside the tools folder. Please select the USB port as connection type.

Type 'info 2' without the quotes. Then, hit Enter, this is what you will see a screen like this. Notice the HTCSuperCID on the output display.

Now, you are all set to go!

Type 'format BINFS' without the quotes. It is case sensitive, you must key-in the alphabet accordingly. Please type format BINFS and not format only because with Format only will erase your IPL and SPL which is your bootloader ... (if you did that... you are in deep shit!)

The HTCSuperCID means your device is SuperCID and it can be flushed with any ROM, even though its not meant or could destroy your device. If you do not see HTCSuperCID, it means that you did not SuperCID properly, repeat Step 4. Once it is done, type 'ResetDevice'

Step 8 - Enable USB Connection

Now you are ready to flash your device. Please enable Microsoft ActiveSync USB connection, refer to Step 5.

Step 9 - Running the GSM update

Now locate the WM6GSMUpdate inside the Tools folder. Please run RomUpgradeUtility, you should see this screen.

Click "I understand . . ." and then click Next, then click  "I completed the steps. . .". Hit Next and it will verify your information.

After that click Update and watch as the meter moves on your device and your screen.

Do not attempt do anything silly now because your IPL, SPL and Radio are being patched now. Anything unexpected(for example power loss, USB cable detached, and etc) which happen could render your device useless. This process will be fast enough, around 2 minutes. Once it is done, it will reboot by itself and you will be returned to the bootloader screen.

Step 10 - Running the OS update

While you are in the bootloader screen, extract Andot's V6 Perfect English Edition Windows Mobile 6 for HTC Tornado  and the rest is pretty similar to the Step 9. Run ROMUpgradeUtility which in inside the Windows Mobile  6.0 ROM folder, you will see the same RUU screen, do the same thing and upgrade. But this time ,you are installing Windows Mobile 6. This process takes time, around 10 minutes will pause for some times at 99%, just be patient. Once you are done, your device will reboot once again but this time, your device will be loading Windows Mobile 6!

Welcome to the new world of Microsoft Windows Mobile 6!!!

Step 11 - Installing input method (optional)

The Windows Mobile 6.0 that you just installed do not have the T9 English input method. You can find it under the Tools folder and install it by yourself.

Leave your message if you have any question.

Happy Upgrading~!

For ages, from single cell to monkey, monkey to human. Human claims the most civilized creatures spot in the world chart.

Do you really think so? Do you trust that the other creatures live besides us has no objection to this? Being the largest population species in the world. We are definitely dominating this earth. Although we are huge in quantity but our mind seems to be constrained by limited nature of life. That's what form our mindset which is limited by the world's logic!

Some days ago, David talked about his ex-colleague_closed buddy bad things... Yeah! What we usually talk? That's other people bad's stuff. We enjoy laughing at people's miserable days very much grin

Story started with his buddy's subordinate has a Mr. Impossible where he tends to make everything impossible... Even simple or silly thing is still impossible before trying it out! hit1

You see? Human mindset is really a matter to this issue that needed to be addressed. I would not say that "If you think you can, you can!" but at least you have to "Try your best before saying can not". That's reasonable, right?

How the hell you know that is impossible by "looking/thinking" only? 500 years ago, human never dare to dream about flying on the sky! Now? Everyone can fly with cheap price, furthermore we are going to the outer space too! It is clear that "Dreams are possible but human make it impossible"! Besides Mr. Impossible's mindset, he has influenced the others to be part of the impossible team too. That's the havoc! If you can't do it, please do not stop other people trying it out! Ohhh gosh! I wish David's ex-colleague_closed buddy can really do something to excel himself. namor

Another interesting story comes up when I met my friend yesterday. My friend is a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of a Mesdaq listed company. He shares his stories with me and we have a good laugh during our drinking session.

I skip the details because it is same old shit that the Project Manager stay too long inside his comfort-zone and refuse to take any new challenges. That project manager is living at his own utopia. We know that we are not heading that way. We are definitely exploring more unknown zone for the sake of keep growing!

For myself, I came from an environment where everything is a failure before you successfully completed it. Everything included ahead schedule tasks, cost-effective resources management and etc. Before you set the flag of success, everything is failure. You are liable for everything! No discount! Performance is everything but favoritism excluded all! That's China-Man style. Pay you 100% of salary but need you to show 200% of performance and 300% of responsibilities! So I trained to be positive, calm and reasonable... because I went through all those ridiculous situations until I finally realize the world is never fair but MINDSET equalized everything. glass

Last word from Kok mING. You do not need to have a very brilliant thinking but you must have a positive mindset to always stay competent!

Hi folks! Its been a long time since my last work-related blog with you. How ya doing there?

I started my new career for a month already! Time goes fast, I admit that I have not spend as much time as before into this blog... I am doing my best to gather the free time to blog a little too. he

Let's talk about my work place. I were amazed by the desktop computer! It comes with dual LCD monitor! Yes!! Two 17" LCD Monitor. It is not many companies out there can offer such luxuries, right? Other than that, the computer equips with 2GB RAM, a nice display card. More than enough to do some fancy actions.

Hold on! I still have a IP Phone from Cisco! Wow! This is really a nice phone. Fully network-compatible. I can access to it from my home computer (providing I log into the office VPN and start the phone client). This phone is nice because it can display the daily horoscopes and weather forecast. hahaha

Sorry dudes, I can't tell you much about my job because I signed a NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement) on everything related to the job... All I can say is, I am currently engaging with world-class computer equipments vendor. Yes! Finally, I stepped into the World-Class environment. This is the chance to prove myself! This is the place to perform my best to see whether or not I am at the world-class standard! Although, the tasks assigned to me contains very much of challenges but I am not an easy-to-give-up people before doing my best on it!

The most fruitful gain comes after great hard-work! I am planting the seed right now! Let's do the best for the day of harvest!

Microsoft Windows Server 2008! Yes! It is correct. Today we are going to install the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Beta 3! This is not an official release of the final retail version. So, some of my content may not be accurate if you compare with the retail version.

Quoted from here. Of course, you can expect some "unexpected" delay on the launch date or the product arrival date... but that's another story :-)

Just announced at the Worldwide Partner Conference, Windows Server 2008 will be launched jointly with Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008 on Feb. 27, 2008, in Los Angeles. As the most important enterprise launch in company history, this will kick off a "launch wave" of hundreds of worldwide events hosted by Microsoft. Read more.

Things that you need to do the installation is a computer at least with Pentium 4 HT or Dual Core, 1GB RAM, 10 GB hard disk space (inclusive 5GB system used). Most important, the product key! Once you get all things in your hand. Insert the installation DVD into your optical drive and boot the computer from it.  You will see the screen as captured below. Select your preferred language, currency and keyboard layout and start the installation.

After you key in your product key, you will have 2 installation options which is full installation or choose to install the core component only. If you are unsure about this, just click the full installation and click next.

The rest of the installation process is pretty easy. Accept the licensing terms, click Next for a few times. The installation will run all the way to the end. It took me around 35 minutes to get into the desktop screen(installation on virtual pc). Nothing challenging. No difficult term for you to guess. No more boring blue-screen installation. Never ask you to enter any information except product key. No pre-settings needed. NTFS will be the default file system. Indeed, it is a very user friendly installation. Microsoft did a good job on this! The system engineers now will have more time for online games system compatibility testing!

I like this installation, it is easier compare to previous windows server version. Even compare with Windows Vista, for this server you do not need to do any diskpart or any command line to get the hard disk formatted. Aha! It is so simple to install Microsoft Windows Server 2008. Even my 5 years old little brother who know how to type and click can install it!

Next post, I will show you something beyond the desktop screen :) Stay tuned.

Happy Installation!!

The next step to do after the installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2008. You need to reset the Administrator account password. Here, I spotted something new! You can create a password reset disk! Dude, this is so nice! From now on, we do not need to download 3rd party tools to reset the administrator passwords which is set by our managers! Yes! Password cracking is easier! Thanks Microsoft! LoL. Do not abuse the tools. Use it in a good way, please. Ok?

After you change the password, you shall reach to the desktop. Nothing fancy, the background color is ugly. I don't like it. Who the hell pick this default color?!

The first thing I do is... Select a wall paper, to replace the default blue color background. It looks a lot more better now, right?

I checked with the Server Manager window, I found a lot of things to configure. Well, basically nothing to highlight for normal user, more toy for the system engineers only.

The start menu is inherited from Windows Vista. It is clean and simple. Ah! Not to forget, the beloved Shut-Down Event Tracker is still exist...

I don't know why I needed to fill up the reason when I want to shut down my server. It is totally P.O.S. (Piece of Shit!) . Although it can be turned off manually but I dislike Microsoft enable it by default. It is an annoying tracker... forgive me if you treasure the tracker very much.

Yes. These are the shut down screen and the login screen. It looks pretty boring isn't it? Especially with my 19" LCD, these screen looks extremely plain! They should have something like the DVD menu, some animations or movies display ... Anyway, it is not a big deal. We can stand the boredom. xd

That's it. Nothing fancy. Nothing interesting if you have nothing to do with the server. Basically, it is good because it simplified most of the things. You need to configure it only when you need to do so.

Happy Exploring!!

Last week, Microsoft officially release the latest version of Visual Studio codename "Orcas". It is Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition Beta 2.

Visual Studio 2008 delivers on Microsoft’s vision of smart client applications by letting developers quickly create connected applications that deliver the highest quality rich user experiences. This new version lets any size organization create more secure, more manageable, and more reliable applications that take advantage of Windows Vista, 2007 Office System and the Web. By building these new types of applications, organizations will find it easier than ever to capture and analyze information so that they can make effective business decisions.

Yes! I got the DVD image from the Microsoft MSDN downloads site. The installation goes pretty much same as the previous version. It takes around 4.5GB disk space to install it. The first time fire up the Interactive Development Environment (IDE), it will ask you to choose the default environment settings.

Immediately, I spotted a good feature! For new every new project, you can choose which version of .NET framework that you wanted to use! Yes! Finally, they concern about the compatibilities. It really save the efforts of switching .NET Framework version for the sake of new IDE! Previously, in order to enjoy the new version of Visual Studio, you have to "upgrade" your project to the newer .NET Framework! Fortunately, now we have a painless migration(from 2005 to 2008) to new IDE!

With the .NET Framework 3.5, you have more templates(VB.NET and C#.NET) for Office 2007. It is really ease the developer to create seamless office integration application or add-in.

You can check here for the Feature Specifications for Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5.

A quick run of the new IDE. It is not much different, I got pretty disappointed because I was expecting something like 'ribbon' from Microsoft Office System 2007... Oppsss! Wait a seconds! I found something new on the menu bar. That is a TEST menu over there! Wow! We can do unit testing with the new IDE! That's cool!

The last thing I found before I turn off my virtual machine is the LINQ object appears in the Web Project control/object toolbar! Yeah! That's good! More toys for the developers!

Since it is a beta release, I do not want to use it for the actual development. Furthermore the .NET Framework 3.5 is a beta version too. It is always risky to use beta version software. Basically, if you are staying in front of the technology field, you should consider to be an early adopter of the newest version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (code name Orcas).

Happy Programming!!

First of all, I would like to say thank you to my family, my friends and YOU! Yes! Its you!

This -> topic <- receive a good response from you guys. Although nobody leave a comment on it but now I am here to blog about the RESUME which you wanted me to share it... ... Anyway, let's start the show!

Resume also known as a curriculum vitae (CV), is a document containing a summary or listing of relevant job experience and education, usually for the purpose of obtaining an interview when seeking employment.

So what is the big deal? Aren't we all know about it? Wait... ... Are you sure you know everything about resume? From A-Z, inside out? Have you really put in your effort to compile a master-piece of resume? Can your resume describe yourself not only experience and education but personality and capability? A good resume will definitely put you up the top of the interview queue!

Let's put aside the design, format, font, spacing, and title of the resume. We focus on how to write!

First thing to do for resume is to eliminate all negative sentences! It may be related to your former employer, your colleague or yourself... ... Any negative sentences in your resume will lead the reader to "derive" your personality, your work ethic, your moral value and your professionalism!

Yes! I know, everything or everywhere has its bad sides. You are only telling the truth why need to be worry?!  Let me remind you, the reader/employer has totally NO interests to read your bad experiences with your former employment. They only needed to know what they advertised with their vacancy advertisement. So, writing negative things inside a resume is an absolute spoiler! Again, stepping down other people will never prove you are any better than them.

Okay. Let me show you what I've got in my mind to turn the negative voice away but still able to express myself.

Negative sentences... Kok mING voices!
I fired my boss because he cheats me. He treats other better than me. I tender my resignation because I would like to seek for a fair and better environment.
The manager don't know how to manage the team. He give me no opportunity! The reason for me to leave the current work place because I am looking for a more challenging job and higher degree of team collaboration.
I am the One-Leg-Kick. I do more work than the others but I get the lowest increment and bonus! So I quit! I am looking for a better offer that can fully utilize my skills and abilities!

* You can challenge me to convert other negative sentences. I am all open for it!

Perhaps, you noticed my second point on how to write a resume. That is the wording! Use the right word to explain or express yourself! This is a must! To write a good resume, you do not need the bombastic level of English but make sure you have a rich vocabulary. Most often, better wordings can attract the reader more than everything! Always use stronger words to support your points! Now, the question rise again... How to determine the "strength" of a word?! Can you measure that? Okay... I admit I am bad because I cannot give you the answer on how to measure the "strength" of a word but I believe you can see it below.

Weak sentences. Kok mING strong and confident words!
I sell medicine and talk with the customer. I am fully responsible on the customer communication and interaction. Other than that, I am fully in-charge of the medicine sales activities too.
I handle this project. I speak to the outsider, my boss and my team mate. This is the independent project that I fully involved and participated into it. I am the main communication window for both internal and external parties.
I help the new comers to do their work correctly. I am the trainer for the new comers and responsible to coach them into a right direction.

These should be enough to make a more presentable resume. I hope I give you some ideas to compile an easy-to-understand but comprehensive resume!

Of course, it has more to discuss further but I leave it for you to explore it!

Happy resume writing!

Welcome back folks! Welcome back to the English channel (or Mal-Lish to be exact...).

Let's not do any nonsense opening! We go straight to the points! I will share the Job Seeker point of views only. No more no less.

Job interview is a process for both employer and employee to have a chance to discuss about the job. It is the first or second step of getting a job depends on where you start counting it...

After you confirm a job interview as a employee or job seeker, you must do a background research on the employer. It is a must! If you are lazy, at least you make a anonymous call to the company to ask receptionist or who-ever answer the call about what this company major or core business! Prepare yourself for the interview.

First, your outlook appearance must be presentable (for female) or smart (for male). I emphasize on presentable because most girls/ladies know how to dress themselves very much but some of them may not notice some business attires may not be suitable for you (female). Imagine that you wear like the Air-Asia stewardess... I can recall that their uniform is SOOOOOOOO tight and almost squeeze the breast out! I am not saying it is not nice but please do not wear like that just because you wanted to show your good body figure. Unless you are applying for the position of seXretary (secretary) . No offense to those real and professional secretary. For male, please shave or tidy up your beard! Dress smart! Smart mean fresh, good looking and confident! I do not mean that you have to wear a tie or very shinny boots. You can looks smart even with T-Shirt and Jeans. I wish you know that... else you have to get a girl to do some serious shopping with you :-P

Second, read the job advertisement again! You must know what are the expectations of the employer. I know most of you just apply the job without considering whether or not it is suitable. Sometime you will forget about which job that you had applied... You need a job, I understand. With this preparation, during the interview, you can expect what kind of job-related questions will be asked by the interviewer. It certainly help to impress the interviewer if you speak their mind or their expected answers!

Third, bring along everything that can prove yourself. Your passport-sized photo, certificates, transcripts, letter of recommendations and et cetera.

Fourth, always run a mind-simulation of the interview. Expect nothing but prepare for the worst! For example, if you are going for a programmer interview, prepare for a test or so... If that is a accountant job, be prepared that the interviewer will ask you about the accounting rules and et cetera.

Fifth, be honest. Honesty! This is what you needed to have during the interview. Please do not lie on anything. We knows all the spontaneous lies will be revealed by the liar in no times! So, do not try to fool yourself! You just answer what you know and say "I do not know" at the right time. We are born as a human, it is definitely alright to not knowing everything!

Sixth, do not be nervous. Please be confident with your language. I believe most interviews will be conducted in English. I understand that not every one born with good command or tongue of English. You have bad English but it does not give you any valid reason to be shy or nervous! I have very bad English and now I am writing a English article and hopes you will understand it!  Am I ever feel worry or ashamed of  my bad English? I am very serious in this. Perhaps what give you a job is not your skill but your English. The written and verbal skill is very important for the job. I will discuss this later when I have time! It is definitely a very interesting topic to discuss!

Seventh, during the interview, please do as much as eye-contact or face-to-face conversation! It is not a trick to impress the interviewer but a must-do action to respect the interviewer! Imagine if you answer a question by looking at the table. I know you are shy but the interviewer may felt insulted because you reply to the table instead of them! If you do not know how to have eye-contact, perhaps you spend some coins and buy me "teh-tarik" so we can have some "eye-contact" sessions in mamak stall (offers for girls only... I have no interests to look into a male's eye for night!). hee hee

Eighth, try to ask questions to the employer. You must ask questions in order to show your interests for the job offered! If you have no question, perhaps you can seek the answer for the questions that the employer asked you. Please be humble when you ask question.

Ninth, always follow up the interview by a "thank you" letter or email a day or two after the interview. It can helps you to out-list the other candidates by leaving a better impression in the employer's mind.

Tenth, I will share some questions and answers with you here. I will express it in my very own style during the interview. Perhaps you have to tweak the sentences in order to make it sound like yourself, ;-)

Questions that I will ask the interviewer

1. May I know the job requirement in details?

2. May I know the organization culture?

3. Can I have a tour to the work place / environment?

4. What is the career path?

5. Is there any Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) to measure my performance?

You notice? I never talk about salary or the desired package. It is not nice for a employee or job seeker to ask like "How much I will be getting?" or "How much you will pay?" . All you have to do is wait until the employer take the first move to ask about the package you want. When they ask this question, it means they have the intention to give you a chance. If you asked it before them, it will spoil your professional image with all these "money-minded" questions only.

Answers for some common interview questions

1. Why should we hire you?
To answer this question, you have to know what is the employer requirement. Once you know what is the requirement, all you have to do is to relate those requirements into your qualifications. You must sound that you are the right and the best candidates to be hired. I never ask you to lie but be confident to speak the facts! :)

2. What makes you think you are suitable for the job?
Almost same as the first question but please answer this question on the focus of yourself. You can say with your xxx and yyy qualification can helps the company to improve this and that. Your aaa and bbb experiences will be very helpful in fulfilling the KPI of the job. Furthermore, you have kkk and mmm knowledge to share with the team/company/business.

3. Why you want to join us?
Very simple. I need a job! You fools! LoL. Please... do not answer this question like this. Perhaps you can answer is with some of the background of the company. For example, I notice this XXX company is very well-known in the market, with the established organization structure, I believe this is a good place to perform my best and to push my career into a brighter level.

4. How can you prove yourself is an asset for the company?
This question, you must answer it with values and facts! Please include your qualifications, experiences and personal strength into the answer. Furthermore, you can include your loyalty, professionalism and other intangible values of yourself into the answer. It definitely helps to convince the interviewer on how valuable you are...

5. Why you quit the last job?
Very simple answer. To seek a brighter career and better job advancement. :)

Last but not least, these are my little thoughts only. If you have any criticisms, please do it with suggestion. Thank you.

Happy Job Interviewing!

Today, I am looking into my Google Analytics Report. I found out that is too many of PORN searches reach into my page, something like teen XXX, malay gay, black kok... you know what KOK is that... anyway, I am scratching my head on how to "tell" Google about the wrong results.

Finally! I found the answer in Google! Oh yeah! That's the mighty Google, it always know what I wanted and prepared for me! Thanks!

I found this page name Google Webmaster Tools.

You can supply your GMAIL account as the user account for this tool. After you login, it will ask you to be verified as the owner of your site before you can utilize the tool :) . It is very simple verification procedure, either add a meta tag or a html files with specific file name. After you added your site, you are start to manage it!

It is a very comprehensive tools for your to submit your removal request into Google search index. Well, this will actually helps you to eliminate/"purify" those porn-horny visitors :)

Some other interesting features will be the crawl rate and statistic. You can actually view how many data(quantitative) that Google crawled from your site. and the crawl rate can be set too! Well, I guess nobody want below Normal crawl rate if you value your ranking in Google search index :-D

If you are serious about SEO or you want to know the search engine actually works in crawling your site. You can check this tool. It provides very comprehensive help and Google is never recommend you to link to any SEO. I know you run your blog, forum, CMS and etc. So, this is the right tool for you to communicate with Google. Although, it is not powerful enough to grant you the #1 / First rank in every search but it definitely helps you to improve your site traffic if you use it right :-D!

Happy Google Webmasters!

Nowadays, almost every home has a computer. Perhaps two or more computers. The growth of technology has make the community to demand more from the computer. In 10 years ago, with the Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME, if you mention that you are able to setup a local area network or a file sharing network, you are probably get millions of dollars pay! With the growth of technology, file sharing is never a difficult job anymore. Instead, it is only a 2 to 3 mouse clicks job.

Of course. I am not going to bore you with the history lessons again. Let's see scroll down for something useful! Please tell me that you know about the terms of Files/Folders Sharing or Networking before you proceed. Often, I encounter a very silly problem in Microsoft Windows XP networking environment. Especially for those newly setup computers.

After you create a Share folder and trying to browse it from other computer, most likely another computer with Microsoft Windows XP installed or other version of windows... a pop-up windows / dialogue will appear and ask for your login credential.

The most non-sense thing in this case is the User Name : column / text box is disable for editing (grey colour, as the screen-shot below).

You could not change the user name and forced to use the Guest account. After some tries with the passwords in your mind, perhaps you notice that the Guest account is disable by default in Microsoft Windows XP with SP2. So, no matter how many times you try the login, you can't get into it because of the account status... Stupid enough, isn't it? But how to solve this? Enable the Guest account ? Yes. You can do so, but by enabling the Guest account, you will create more havoc in your work place or home because Guest (every one) can browse into your shared folders which is not really nice...

Here, I have another solution for you to enable the User Name: column or text box. So, you can type in your login credentials to access the shared folder. Smart or not?

First, you open the file explorer by double click the My Computer, under the TOOLS menu bar select Folder Options... A Folder Options window will pop-up. Go to the View Tab, inside the middle part of the windows. Locate this option called Use simple file sharing(Recommended), it is checked by default. As the screen-shot below.

All you have to do it to uncheck it, and click Apply.

Try to access the shared folder from other computers again. Now, you should receive a login window with User Name: column or text box enable! Very likely, your problem is solved by now!

If you are really that lazy or feel secure with your network, you can try to enable the Guest account for the sharing / host computer, so you no need to supply the login credentials to access the folders. Anyway, Kok mING do not encourage you to enable the Guest account, never do it unless you want a guest.

Happy networking!

WHat is beyond god like says:
你想读书定係做工?
Kok mING®©™,    recommends http://blog.kokming.com says:
WHat is beyond god like says:
无钱就去做工揾钱啦....

WHat is beyond god like says:
无人请咪返去读多几年书咯..

Kok mING®©™,    recommends http://blog.kokming.com says:

Kok mING®©™,    recommends http://blog.kokming.com says:
I am going to blog this nonsense

~ d a v i d ~ says:
hahahhaa

Kok mING®©™,    recommends http://blog.kokming.com says:
and you will be in my blog now

This is going to be a technology post but I will try my best to write as "funny" / "hilarious" as I can... So I won't bore the I.T. illiterate readers :-)

First of all, what inspires me to write this... Often, we heard people talk about how great is .NET and what it can do and etc... It is overwhelming. Simply overwhelming. In many situations, people start to mis-understand what is .NET.

Let's start with a little history lesson, short but brief! :-)

.NET derives its name from a well-known Microsoft Software Component called .NET Framework. What is this? .NET Framework is a large pool of pre-coded libraries or objects for Microsoft Visual Studio.NET to use. If you don't know what is libraries or objects. No worry. Just make is as a TOOL! :) A handy tool for programmers.

.NET started its journey since year 2002 with the first release of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (often we refer it as Microsoft VS .NET 2002). .NET framework has a few versions and use by different version of Visual Studio. See table below.

.NET Framework Microsoft Visual Studio Version
1.0 Microsoft Visual Studio 2002
1.1 Microsoft Visual Studio 2003
2.0 Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
3.0 Orcas or Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (still in progress)
3.5 Orcas or Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (still in progress)

*** I am not sure which version of .NET framework that Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 will use. It is just a wild guess...

As you see table above... In past 5 years, Microsoft is putting a lot of effort to capture/expand the developer population. Well, forget about it. You don't need to know that :) For .NET Framework version 3.0, it is included in your brand new Microsoft Windows Vista  if you don't know... :) For most developers or programmers, we are definitely waiting for the version 3.5 because this version will include a new compiler that will support new features such as Language Integrated Query (LINQ), as well as new language features in C# and VB.NET.

Every one thinks that .NET must be Internet related. This is partially wrong, but I could not deny it fully. It is because .NET Framework has the capability to interoperable between web and windows/desktop interface. It is all depends on what kind of software solution you need!

I met some employers or bosses which thinks that if you don't have .NET experience then you knows nothing in web-development. Gosh! I wish I can slap them hard. Kick them far far away. Besides .NET, we still have JAVA or JAVA EE if you know what is that. Even without .NET or Java knowledge, you can still development a web site with plain HTML...

.NET is just a term for a group of tools. So, when somebody mention that they know .NET, you better ask them which .NET language that he/she knows :) For example, my blog is developed with C#.NET and uses XML as database, currently utilizing .NET Framework 2.0 :)

If a person says he has more than 7 years of .NET experiences. Just ignore him, it is because .NET was introduced at year 2002. Now is year 2007 only. Even you are a beta tester, I bet it is like 1 year earlier than the other to feel the beta version of .NET Framework 1.0. If you are interviewing people, ensure you have the right candidate with the right experiences :)

To summarize, .NET is not the owning the Internet. It is a lot of other tools to develop web-site or Internet application or system (e-commerce, CMS, BLOG and etc).

I hope I did not bore you with this. I wish you have better understanding on this topic. Feel free to ask me more questions too!

Let's talk about my unemployment because most people raised their concern on it. It seems I am making you guys or girls worried enough...

It is 1 full month of unemployment period for me. What I did for the previous month? Wasting my time endlessly? Not looking for job? Being a lazy-ass? Too demanding in job searching...

Haha... well. The situation is getting heated up. I know many of you are very worry about me and really concern on my financial status. Yes. I am running into a financial trouble ... but who never had a financial trouble? Employ and Unemploy makes no differences... we are still in financial trouble. Haha. Correct?

I keep saying Unemploy instead of Jobless... You know why? Unemploy is meaning I am actively looking for jobs and waiting to be employed by someone... Jobless means I have no job to do. Another interesting interpretation of Jobless is... You can be employed but without a job to do (perhaps you are so competent to finish everything ahead the schedule!). That is jobless too :-D Haha. Thanks to Khang inspiring me to this funny scenario.  So... Please be informed that Kok mING is Unemploy instead of Jobless... It will definitely lower your worries. Hehe.

Why I said the situation is getting heated up? Haha. Because I keep receiving greeting from friends, peers, strangers and etc with the opening sentence "Hey, have you get a job yet?". "Still jobless ah?". Haha. Please stop killing me :-P .

The above sentences still friendly enough... Check the sentences below for more aggressive sentences :-(

xxx: Shit. You are still JOBLESS! What the hell you doing now? Go LOOK for job!!
yyy: You lazy mofo, stop chatting and read something! Do something to save your poor life!
zzz: Why you are so free to chat? You should be looking for job! Since when you change to be like this? Where is the Kok mING?
aaa: How many times I have to tell you to be NOT choosy about jobs? Do you understand that you need a job now?
bbb: Kok mING, why you want to be manager? Why you cannot choose a lower rank job? Position means more than your life now? Why you so stubborn?
ccc: Have you visited xyz, tyv, cde job agency or not? If yes. They have a lot of openings! Why you still cannot get a job? Stop being choosy! Its all your fault for not getting a job!!

Dudes, from the bottom of my heart, I prefer you to move your fat ass to http://blog.kokming.com and click the MOST APPRECIATE button called PayPal Donate! Ok?

Haha. Ok ok... actually they never sound as aggressive as I type but to have more dramatic impact on your reading. I must make it more "commercial"! Don't learn from me, its bad for health!!

Let me clear some of your doubts. First, I am actively looking for jobs, I apply for many jobs but no response from the employer. Sad huh?

Second, I am chatting with you because you are as free as me else you won't reply me, right!? You mofo stop accussing me not putting any effort in job searching... ok? :-P

Third, this is very important. As everyone knows. I am aiming for the managerial position in some big and well-known organizations. Simply because my career path leads me here. Here! This point! No turning back! My life, my burden, my debt and my career demands... all pushing me to move forwards instead of falling backwards. If I become a programmer or technical support, I will definitely be a very EXPENSIVE employee where not much of companies able to "feed" me... So I choose to be a CHEAP manager... At least, I can do anything for the employer who hired me and he/she might felt worth it because he/she getting a CHEAP manager(one-leg-kick) instead of an EXPENSIVE programmer or technical support. Do you get it now?

Now, definitely you are thinking this. Why can't you lower your salary expectation? Haha. Hell no! Definitely a big NO NO, to lower the expected salary. Say is very easy... considering I have my debts and burden. There is no room for discount. No more, simple as that!

If you are still reading until here. Thank you for reading and please change your clothes and get ready! I am going to your house and buy you a dinner. Let's go!! But... before the dinner, I have to withdraw money from the bank, because I am running low on cash in my wallet. If possible can you please go to the nearest bank of yours and withdraw some for paying the dinner because my bank is having too little fund too...

Haha. Last but not least, let me say thank you to my friends who introduce me some job agencies, help me to search job, email me about job opening, spending time to help me pass my boring time and the meals that you bought to me(you know who you are). Thank you very much!

Opps not to forget, I am really appreciate my lovely family for supporting my decision of being a lazy ass just because I want to "move" forwards.

This entry will be compiled in Chinese but due to the over-whelming whines  demand on english... I give you some summary on what it is all about... I watch LOST TV series from Season 1 until now (Season 3), definitely a fan of it.  At Season 3 Episode 19. John Locke join with the Ben's group of people. Ben is the HEAD of the another group...

Just because of John cannot do something (kill his "father"), Ben wanna abadone him ... Ben embarass him, critic him, control him and ... ... The screen shots is just for the people who dont know who is John and Ben. I wrote this because I feel the same as John Locke...

Trust is hard to gain, easy to lose and nearly impossible to win back. How much you agree with this?

Always, past performance is no garantee of future behavior. How true is this?

You may agree or disagree or stay neutral for the above sentences. I read a lot recently... a lot means really a lot. The reason I start reading this much because I need to have more points of view. Likewise, I need to gather more thinking "logic" too. Anyway, let's move back to the topic. True Testimonials.

After more than half decade of working life. I met a lot of people. Getting know them from strangers to party buddies. No age range, no race difference, no language difficulties. Although I am kinda lack of social skills but I still have a open characteristic to accept new comers or being nice to someone who approaches me.

Most notable, I met people who recognized my capabilities and professionalism. I am glad that I met them. They gave me valuable lessons during my career. Staying protected by their shadows enable me to gain more experiences without much interferences. I am thankful that I am able to maintain a very nice relationship with them even though I left them to pursue my very own career advancement.

How many people manage to maintain the relationship after job resignation? I always emphasize on professionalism. Even you leave a company, you must leave without any conflict or problem. I am glad that I never spoil any relationship with the people who I worked before... well... not all but almost all. Haha!

Professionalism or good-will is always intangile and nothing to measure. It seldom pay back but if you ever has the chance for the "pay back". I believe it will be something very excited and enjoyable.

I got the "pay back" recently with Jobstreet.com Testimonials! Thank you very much on the very kind and presentable testimonials!

WooooHoooooo!!!

The long awaited Service Packs 2 for Windows Server 2003 is ready for public download!

As usual! I am the real risk-taker. I installed it when Windows Update display it to me!

Just to share with you. I failed first installation with a freshly started Windows Server 2003. It display something like low in resources error message.

But I succeed with one more try! I don't know what caused the problem. Perhaps I utilized Windows Server 2003 unlike any other people... So this strange installation behaviour happened to me!

This is the second day after the SP2 installation. My system is still running well. Still able to BT, surf and chat.

If you are considering to deploy SP2, you may try it out with a testing machine first. As usual, M$ never come out some real fine shits for no reason.

:D

Ok... I met some colleagues. They asked me the same question...

Will you join us back in future?

My answer is no. Definitely a big NO NO. I would not do that because as I can tender my position now. It means I has nothing to hope or dream with this career. Even though, I decline this situation but I do open for partnership or joint venture with them. I do not want to work without authority and my own voices! I always believes that I can issue better command compare to them!

You may wonder why I am so confident to give a negative feedback to this question.

Simply because, if I do re-join the company with the same position again. Then, why I have to resign at the first place? It is time-wasting if I retake the same damn job and task. Why should I leave if I wanted to re-join in future? Totally out of the question to ask for re-join.

I don't even think about counter-offer. Yes, I love money but please spare me a little self-respect. Simply because money cannot buy my career. I would not cheap-sell my career or "time"!

I join with a keen mind and I will leave with a keen mind too! No more no less.

Something I must share with you. I am kinda happy with that. Simply because I have myself back to who I am!

Story goes with the E.D. (Executive Director) from a subsidiary of the Group. I, the M.D. (Messaging Director) of another subsidiary of the group. Here is the scenario.

I tried to format a computer for fuck sake and installed the AutoCad 2002 for fun sake. Around 1PM, they , E.D. and another girl, come into the office after lunch, obviously I am kinda moody where that computer "delay" my lunch hour. This E.D. straight away ask me without seeing or knowing what I am doing.

=========== QUESTIONS ===========

E.D.: This computer got problem.

E.D.: Can you fix it?

E.D.: How long we bought this computer?

E.D.: Can you exchange a new one for me?

E.D.: Why Dell cannot exchange? This is a new computer!

E.D.: I bought this computer with full of trouble and it is wasting your time to fix it now. Go and exchange a new one for me.

E.D.: Are you sure the warranty cannot claim for a new replacement of this?

E.D.: It gives us a lot of trouble.

=================================

You have all the questions remembered? Now I am going to show you different version of answer which I will MOST likely say it. I have 2 version of answer which is Before Resignation and After Resignation.

=========== Before Resignation===========

E.D.: This computer got problem.
Me: Ya. I am checking on it.

E.D.: Can you fix it?
Me: Of course, you can trust me!

E.D.: How long we bought this computer?
Me: Let me check with Purchasing Department and feedback to you.

E.D.: Can you exchange a new one for me?
Me: I will call Dell and try my best for it! No worry.

E.D.: Why Dell cannot exchange? This is a new computer!
Me: Oh... I am sorry for that. Perhaps I will write a formal letter to them in order to show our disatisfaction towards their product.

E.D.: I bought this computer with full of trouble and it is wasting your time to fix it now. Go and exchange a new one for me.
Me: Sure sure.

E.D.: Are you sure the warranty cannot claim for a new replacement of this?
Me: Please allow me to take some times to discuss with our Dell Account Manager.

E.D.: It gives us a lot of trouble.
Me: I am sorry for any inconvenience.

=================================

Hm... Sound nice and gentle? But not for today since I throw my resignation letter before Chinese New Year! Read below! This is my REAL conversation with her. This makes the Malay girl besides her keep staring on me. Perhaps I spoke these with very cool and cold voice.

=========== After Resignation ===========

E.D.: This computer got problem.
Me: Perhaps. I am not sure.

E.D.: Can you fix it?
Me: I am looking into it. But right now has no problem.

E.D.: How long we bought this computer?
Me: You can ask Purchasing Department. I don't remember any purchase.

E.D.: Can you exchange a new one for me?
Me: No.

E.D.: Why Dell cannot exchange? This is a new computer!
Me: Because it has no problem right now!

E.D.: I bought this computer with full of trouble and it is wasting your time to fix it now. Go and exchange a new one for me.
Me: I can get you Dell Service Center number. You can call them by yourself. But I advise you not to call because as far as I understand that Dell has no "exchange" or "money back" policy for unknown reason.

E.D.: Are you sure the warranty cannot claim for a new replacement of this?
Me: The product warranty is clearly stated Parts and Labour.

E.D.: It gives us a lot of trouble.
Me: [I am lazy to entertain her. I keep quiet and her face turn bad due to my cool attitude. She sit in her room and I finish my stuff and go lunch with a peace of mind!]

=================================

Haha. Although it is not something notable but I really feel happy about it! Speak my mind without hesitation! I have no worry on any bad comments :D hehe. That's her problem where she don't have the right inter-personal skill but still wanted to act big!

Ladies and gentlement, I am back from Sungai Besar. A very tiring + boring + last trip to Sungai Besar!

I am done with it. No more travel to site and doing something silly (at least in my point of view).

Haha.

I know I know. Many of you asking me whether or not I have seafood lunch for this time.

The answer is Yes.... No...

Yes. I have seafood lunch. A plate of seafood noodles, taufu and fish! No, I don't have crab this time too :(

What to do? Crab is not a Seafood for me but a Seefood... Yes, I am seeing other "guests" in my trip eating it. yummy yummy!

Not a big deal my friends. I can buy myself and yours seafood breakfast, lunch and dinner anytime. I am not really interested to eat crab as well. I am just thinking that by spending company money and working madly over there, I should eat something nice which we seldom eat in town.

You see... Boss was there. He knows I am leaving, he also never get me a nice lunch as a token for the hardword that I spent and time that I sacrificed for HIS events.

What-ever it is :D It will soon to be a good and unforgettable memory for me. At least the last company paid lunch over there, I ate until my stomach full. I am thankful to them (my team mate) for giving me a nice lunch (farewell). That's a good team of people, very nice people they are. I salute them for lasting in this company for so long time :)

I am happy because it is nice to know them! They know who they are. Let's hope Boss won't forget them if he hitted the JACKPOT for this project.

Yay! This is a very peaceful day :)

Everything goes smoothly, boss didn't throw in barbarian request. Purchasing did not moan for more XXXX.

It seems everything is quite ok even without 2 people in the MIS now. It is ok! We are getting in more people :D

After a half month holiday break, I feel RE-fresh! I feel good and enegytic (even though I am sleepless last night).

At the moment, this starting point again!

I just need to clear my mind, focus on the aim and do it with full strenght.

Yes. I feel released because I do not need to care about any bad comment from others anymore! I do not need to worry that these bad comments will spoil my increment or next year bonus!! I simply feel so free to do things! No burden!! I believe I can fly too!!! I am back to someone that I used to be.

Anyway, burden/pressure is always something to push you moving forward so you can improve yourself in order to get over it. A long lasting pressure/burden may cause your mental damage IF you don't know where to leave it! Yes. I mean LEAVE it behind but not to give up. You gotta move forward by ignoring those obstacles and only come back to it when you have the solution for it.

That's all for now. I gotta take a nap now... (sleepy...)

I know 2 dotA players (female). They whine for work, hate their bosses, cry for more salary but to be frank to you, they deserves a credit for the sense of responsibilities inside them.

I interviewed one of them. The reason is simple... I need people very much because 50% work force of my department resigned and will leave before Chinese New Year...

Back to the title. Things that could not be taught.

Sense of responsibilities. Definitely this one. I had been coaching 2 people up and they left me without giving me enough time to get a suitable replacement for them? Yes... You can say I am bad boss, greedy superior or what-so-ever suits me! Anyway, I don't think my coaching style has any problem. I never raise my voice to shout at them like what the Purchasing will do... Instead of shouting, I choose to listen. Most of all cases, I will just protect them before I listen because I trusted them very much. hm... sorry! Should not "hard-sell" my good ...

I always says this sentence "If you wanna go to other company for more experience or better pay, please do tell me when you have the idea to abadone the team... I need some times to get a replacement for your seat and let you hand-over every things to him/her. I will not force you to resign even though I got the replacement..." . Well? Am I sound too generous by talking this to my sub-ordinate? At the end, they just ignore the good request of mine and run-away with their "early-release" request... :( sad case. They learn my skills but not the professionalism . that's very sad for me and for them too...

Back to the 2 dotA players. I know they have the sense of responsibilities because I offer higher pay to one of them and ask her to join ASAP but she denied it by saying she still has an on-going project on hand. She could not leave like this! YES! You see it? That's the professional attitude! She maybe too young or too green but this characteristic will make her a brighter career sooner or later!

Imagine, if people willing to pay higher then you can abadone whatever on hand. You are only a money-minded people, I am not saying money-minded is not good. But it is definitely a negative impact towards your career path. Becuase the new employer may notice it and would not trust your loyalty anymore.

As I said, every people has different mind-set. I could not stop them to grab what they want. They make the decision and INFORM me after all. I shall be happy becuase they still respect me as a immediate superior by letting me to be the "first-one" who knows it ... I should respect their decision and wish them all the best too!

Of course, I wish them can stay longer with me becuase I have more things to share with them. Well, I can't be everything :) Its times for them to explore the world beyond their knowledge! I wish they can have better and brighter future! (including the 2 dotA players ;) )

All the best!!

After my programmer and system support submitted their resignation letters. I really felt a big cloud of bad luck is covering my front path. The MIS Department which I spent 1.5 years to build up may collaspe in any time.

Ignore the above. It is not important. All I wanted to tell you is what written below.

That is a company request to view my resume via Jobstreet.com .  This company has requested my resume for twice. First time is the position of Assitant Manager and the second time is Analyst Programmer. Oh Yeah! It always happen like 1 month one request from different company. I will release my resume if I am happy with the request.

I release both for the above positions but I manage to withdrawn immediately for the application of Analyst Programmer. Today, the company has invited me for the Analyst Programmer Interview. I straight away reject it online without a second thought.

I need to step my career path wisely. Now, I am a Senior Analyst Programmer and multi-task as Assistant Manager. Almost the level to reach Manager/Director position. Why I have to think about stepping backward for more money? I must step forward for more pride, satisfaction, glory and money (of course)! I will never step backward anymore. It is a no return step! Definitely NO_RETURN. Once you stepped backward, you gotta wait/create another chance to move up again! Although I might get better pay by stepping backward but I has no interest to step back!

I must move forward. Keep climbing. Reach to the top or the destination of my career path.

I don't know what I want to be.  but...

I am sure I am learning from the past, commanding the present and conquer the future!

There's no turning back! It is only moving forward with full strength! Doing my best for the better future with "DO FIRST DIE LATER" philosophy!!

I know, you know... we all know that I disappeared for a day.

I understand that you miss me so much but I could not help that because the Mangrove @ Sungai Besar needs me! Remember the Sungai Besar ??

Actually not the mangrove, but something related to the it. My boss, Dato' T.K.M.,  yes! Another TKM! not ktm or mtk/mkt/tmk ok? Let's get back to the topic.

We have a function ... err.... press conference... errr... party.... errrr... holiday? errrr..... I don't know how to "address" it.

It make up of different news agency / press agency, including RTM (Malaysian TV channel), Astro AEC and others media which I do not really know... I apologise for not remembering it if you are part of them and accidentially found my page...

Ok! Now, I know you are wondering, why this I.T. One-Leg-Kick appear @ Sungai Besar and what is all about the Mangrove!?

I don't want to explain until you leave a message haha!

I went there... not because of I.T. related matter... errrrr but well... I actually do some I.T. tasks there for example copy photo and vidoe from digital camera and viewcam... help to "click" on presentation... setting up the I.T. equipments for conference ...

That's only minor tasks! Major task is to use the Nikon DSLR cemara to shot down everyone faces... haha... that's something hard, right? Taken a lot of photo but mostly not interesting... unless you love mangrove and wild life...

Second mission is to be a P.R. haha ... ok ... P.R. not G.R.O. or gigolo... at least I will not sell my lovely body with the current salary :-P . We have 5 people... needs to make sure every one is happy... Standing at the hotel front door welcoming the guests, lead them to their room while raining and etc (what you think P.R. will do then multiply it by 200, that the figures you can measure my role as P.R. over there!)

errrr errrrr I am not sure whether I can say it or not but I don't care! Third mission... is to be a MANGROVE SPECIALIST! haha answer things when people ask... you know... I am the I.T. One-Leg-Kick, how on earth I know Mangrove? ahah...

One disappointment... I still unable to eat any crabs @ the restaurants :( All those reporters got but I dont have :( wuuuu~~~~

.

..

...

....

.....

......

Long story short say... at the end, I am still nothing better than a One-Leg-Kick...

Story start with a external water proof cable piping installation...

Some months ago, we moved into our new premise for smaller space working environment. So you know... everything gotta be move including every network devices. Everything is fine except a external cable is exposed and make the outer side of the concrete wall look likes having a crack line (because the cable is thin and branches from 2 floor to roof-top...). My boss is unhappy with that so he asked the person-in-charge, QS Team (Ms. M and Mr. O), to "beautify" it!

After 2 months of arrangement, they booked a sky-lift to do the job at last! Then the sub-contractor comes happily and re-cabling that damn ugly thing... We chit-chatted some, laugh some, swore some, sacrastic some and etc... 1.5 hours later, the sub-contractor ask me to verify whether the cable is nice enough now! So I ring up to Ms. M for the verification... ok. She is a low level staff as she always think she is... so she cannot give any confirmation. Fine, I asked she to seek her immediate superior,Mr O, to comes over and see it.

You know... I know... they don't know, the Mr. O refused to come for the final verification as he is the Post Contract Manager where he gotta process, approve, accept or deny any sub-contractor related issues. Its ok dude, I know everybody is busy with job, so I use very very nice and soft sentences to approach Mr. O to make a 2 minutes walk to our premise. After spending 10 minutes.  He finally cannot stand our long winded but soft-voices sentence! He comes... Now... Note here. It is only 2 minutes walk but he needs us to talk with him for 10 minutes for the "invitation" process. Corporate Culture! Ho!

He arrives and comments on the cabling. He is totally disappointed with it. He mention the piping is unable to fully cover the cable and it may creates stains to the wall in future due to exposure to the sun and rain! He commanded me to talk to the sub-contractor for extra painting and silicon pump to make the pipe looks nicer and solid. Ahem... ahem... for fuck sake the sub-contractor rejected my request before I am able to say the full sentences. Mr. O is besides me, the sub-contractor is 50 meters aways. So I suggest Mr. O and the sub-contractor to meet up each other and discuss a win-win solution.

=====================================

Now, please stop reading if you do not want to see me to show my very good Mal-lish 18+ sentences...

=====================================

Mr. O straight away says "I don't want to talk to him, what for I talk to him?!". WA KAN NIN NA BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, If you as a senior management is acting like an ass. Do you expect your whole team not to be an ass to the others? You expect ME as the I.T. One-Leg-Kick to paint the pipe for you? You expect the sub-contractor will agree on the out-of-scope requests? Of course, these comments are only appear in my mind. I have no guts to shout it out because I still need the damn job to feed myself! Corporate Culture! Ho!hO!

Mr. O says his second sentence "I don't know you guys, you have to decide it and do it. The boss will not be happy on this". Wa wa wa WA KAN KAN KAN KAN KAN NIN NA BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU again and again... Since you know the boss will be unhappy on this work why don't you voice out your suggestion and help to improve it rather than pushing the burden away but take the compliment credit later? Corporate Culture! Ho!hO!HO!

I am glad the sub-contractor, Mr. L, is kind and helpful enough to walk that 50 meters distance and meet up with Mr. O. Then they have some pushing or "tai-chi" session for some minutes! I just walk aways and go make a immediate call to verified my responsibilities on this task, in order to keep myself safe and steady!

After the phone call, don't know what they talk. They just agree to leave it as it is! MMMMMAAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAIIIIIIII you wasted my anger  energy... at the end still come out with no solution on the things that you are disappointed. Fuck it! Why shall I care? You see a problem but you did not attempt to fix it. That's the style of being a person like you. I really feel ashame... not being shame of im-complete tasks but attitude... totally zero % on responsibilities shown!

I wanted to write here not because of I need a anger management channel. It is just happened to be that I have no-one at home is interested to listen to this...

1. Ask for help when shit happens.

2. Do not volunteer to clean up his very own shit.

3. Ignore the superior advice.

4. Never feedback the actual sitaution clearly.

5. Failed to achieve the targetted result of an urgent task.

6. Go to perform other ir-relevant tasks after saying no time to do the other assigned tasks.

7. Failed to prioritize the given tasks.

8. Unable to complete the assigned job and never feel guilty at all.

9. Posses very own mind-set but failed to impress the superior with results.

10. Unable to see what he/she did wrong.

Maybe some "ways" is overlapping each other but you know what I mean, right?

I do not want to write the full story now. Leave A comment. I will tell you how easy to fail your superiors in 6 hours by applying the 10 ways above!

#### I am not whining ####

#### Read at your own risk ####

#### I warned you ####

After I receive the news of the bonus pay-out for this year.

First in my thought... At the end, I am nothing better than the others

We seek H.R. explanation on the how to judge the rate.  After I know the answer.

First in my thought... The better work you done, the less visible you are

So what you expect me and my team to do? Play games during office hours? Messing around with other department? Write a memo like standard 6 student? Be the after-lunch topic of each department? ...I can't comment much.

I am disappointed by the "value" tag that the company "tagged" on us. (value... I do not MEAN money but... >> VALUE <<)

I must say, the pay-out rate is definitely better than other companies but just my salary is low enough to cry out loud here... it cannot flood my bank account but it is enough for me.

Now, if you think I am to demanding then you are definitely wrong. I deserves it for the hardwork I had done! I am deserves it for being an under-dog for a year! I deserves it for wake up 6:30am and reach home 7:30pm everyday! I deserves it because I am the Ultimate One-Leg-kick!

I know... I know... I did not post anything for yesterday... Stop pushing me, or I put all your naked photo here!! :P

I was extremely busy yesterday. Coordinating the PABX setup, chit-chat with the CCTV supplier, attend some support calls, train office zombies to use the digital phone like how to make call... how to remember their damn pin-code and most important on how to answer the calls...

I am definitely not short-handed... my hand is long enough ... how long? longer than yours but shorter than Orang Hutan! I am just hand-not-enough... perhaps I need to pray "Thousand-Hands Guan Ying" for it... anyway! totally outta topic now :P read next!

I actually thinking on what to blog yesterday... Perhasps blog about my car being "kissed" from back to front... or blog about how handsome I am... or blog about my Hong Kong Trip @ 2 months ago... People keep asking me to send them those photo when they see those doremon photo in my msn... anyway! I will do it soon. I have a lot of life-times but too many tasks... at a time, I can only do 1 thing... :P ok... back to something that I wanted to write or share with you...

Today, my colleagues, Samantha answered a call from the Purchasing Manager CUM P.A. to CEO CUM Account Manager, Ms. T. Yeah! That's cool... 1  people 3 roles... ~~~ You are my super woman ~~ insert your melody here~~. and... Bite me! I am the I.T. SuperMan... the Ultimate I.T. 1-Leg-Kick because the telephone and CCTV are going to be my "terrorities" soon! ... Off topic again... You see... I have so many things to tell you. But I have too little time for it!!!

Ms. T asking MIS to provide her a software to do signature comparison within the computer... well. That's brilliant! Most bank running Digitalized Signature. We should practise it too! Unfortunately, we do not have it... even though I go to bank very often, I see Matrix some years ago, I have myKad and chipped passport! But I don't have the damn thing to do Digitalize Signature comparison. As I am so honest... I told Samanthe to return a call to her saying that we are unable provide them this kind of software because we do not have it...

Now... You guess what Ms. T answer... GUESS or just keep reading you lazy folks!

Ms. T replied immediately, "Aren't your MIS should develop this kind of software when we need it?"

Holy shit! That's the "Customer Always Right (CAR)" request again! Come faster, my dear!!! Throw me 2 millions now!!! I promise that I will form the BEST R&D team in this world and build the Extremely Powerful yet User Friendly digitalize signature comparison system just for your fuck sake!

If you think I should develop it then please give me the salary package that I deserve now, yes I mean NOW! I take every responsibilities dropped on my head and do my very best to meet those job role's requirement already! I must say :" Aren't the Human Resource should pay me at least up to the standard as I took the Directorship for the newly setup company?".

Everytime you have new idea or your sentence, you should always think twice before saying it out... Simply because WE, computer people is fucking straight! FUCKING straight, understand? We can't read your mind. We only know 0 and 1.

Ms. T used to say she is not a computer literate... but somehow, she does not think like a computer illiterate people. This world full with these people... that's why we have companies going down one by one. Sometimes, we should always listen to the professional advise. If you do not listen then at least you hire more people to fulfill your unlimited desires!

A chinese proverb is so damn right for Chinese-businessman style thinking... You want a horse run fast but you don't let the horse eat grass!

We have 4 people in a department. Only 1 full time writting program. Other 3 doing 1-leg-kick job or something not related to IT BUT requires computer knowledge... So what? Bill-Gates wrote Windows by himself! Right?

I simply don't have that much of time to do something that she said without thinking! What for a Construction Company need digitilize signature comparison application to support its businesses. Likewise, they are not really dumb or blind to compare the signatures on paper with their own shinny eyes!

Oh god! I seldom pray ... or I seldom be soooooo generous to pray for others. But this time, please allow me to be one...

GOD, if you are reading this, please make the whole Purchasing Department to have more Intelligent. Your very holy kind blessing is greatly appreciated.

This is a first Saturday of November 2006... IDM will be conducted today.

Basically is for each department head to voice out their so-outstanding issues. On the other hand, the TOP management will question those heads if they have any doubt. It has nothing special but I guess this is a notable meeting you know...

I noticed but I am not sure whether or not my buddy, david, notice it... They changed the department sequence to speak or report... MIS is the first... Purchasing is last. hm... Are they trying to say that MIS deserves to report first started from this month? haha. I would not know but all I know is the Purchasing department keep giving them a lot of troubles. Perhaps it is the reason for it to get the last turn... Ohhhh. you might not know why last turn is bad. MIS always get last or almost last :P and many of our thoughts and ideas is not heard by the management simply because during the end of the meeting. Everyone is tired, boring and sleepy like I did :P ... so you go figure out how bad is the last turn to report...

That's nothing worth mentioning (not becausea of P&C but really nothing to mention too...) during the meeting except every one keep eating the left-over Yam Cakes and Pineapples (since breakfast)... and people keep making tea or drinks ...

Oh... before I forget... that's the Uncle Lau is sooo funny...  KM ... well. It is the short-form of my name. Kok Ming = KM. and the Group on the companies that I am working for is KM Group :P  so now. what is KM means for you? haha Uncle Lau says Kumpul Money Group :P  haha that's something good... Kumpul Money = collect money. well. I have another one better... Kedukut Ming... it means stingy ming!

omg... this is the second entries for my blog! yay! :D
